We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Systems Engineer to support both our internal IT infrastructure and our clients' IT environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with technologies such as Windows/Linux servers, firewalls, VPNs, VOIP, IP telephony, and SIP-based troubleshooting. Expertise in network analysis using Wireshark and the ability to read protocol packets is essential.
- Manage infrastructure, servers, PCs, and peripherals for performance, reliability, and security.
- Analyze and resolve incidents as per SLA; contribute to root cause analysis.
- Act as liaison with vendors and technical teams for effective service delivery.
- Fulfill IT service requests, including installations, reconfigurations, and relocations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports for incidents and service reviews.
- Implement regular maintenance of devices to minimize incidents.
- Execute LAN/WAN/VPN/WiFi setups following technical procedures.
- Implement and troubleshoot VOIP/IP telephony and SIP issues.
- Perform packet analysis using Wireshark for advanced network troubleshooting.
- Follow proper escalation procedures and suggest process improvements.
- Experience as Technical Support, Server/Desktop Support, or Help Desk Technician.
- Windows and Linux OS administration skills.
- Firewall and VPN configuration knowledge.
- Familiarity with VMware environments.
- VOIP/IP telephony and SIP-based troubleshooting.
- Packet analysis proficiency using Wireshark.
- Troubleshooting systems, mobile, and other devices.
- Remote desktop and help desk software familiarity.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Certifications in Microsoft, Linux, Fortinet, SonicWALL, VMware are a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
